She tied my hands to my feet and then told me to swim
I feel like sleeping in the water but it won't let me in
I've carved her name into my bones
So I'd never be alone
I've been eating chalk
And drinking wax
I've sold my soul
And it seems I won't get it back
She tied my hands to my feet and then told me to swim
The shore seems far
And my hope runs thin
I close my eyes
And let life begin
This is one of the best releases combining influences from post- & black metal I heard in recent years. The songwriting is excellent and leads to a very distinct sound. Tons of atmosphere and emotions carried by huge melodies. Production also outstanding. Highly recommended to anyone listening to atmospheric black metal. Daniel Diekmeyer
