Years of writing letters to myself
Been throwing them all down this well
Never to be read
A bottomless pit filled with feelings I've had
Years of learning to let go
But it seems the more I learn, the less I know
As the ink dissolves in the water
I grow older
And talking gets harder
Can't forget the things you said
Can't get your fucking voice out of my head
My mouth goes numb and talking gets harder
The well grows deeper and the water gets darker
The life I know
Years of letting go
Alone
I sink deeper
And choke on my regrets
This well does not forgive
The things I'd want to forget
This is one of the best releases combining influences from post- & black metal I heard in recent years. The songwriting is excellent and leads to a very distinct sound. Tons of atmosphere and emotions carried by huge melodies. Production also outstanding. Highly recommended to anyone listening to atmospheric black metal. Daniel Diekmeyer
